If you’ve looked at this website, you can see its been quite a while since I’ve posted. I’ve had questions about if I am still in business or not. The answer is a definite YES! I’m still here.
Life has been busy… for us all I’m sure.
Right now, the farm is busy with turkeys. It’s been an extremely successful year so far raising turkeys. I typically have about 50 to sell. This year I have about 100. What was I thinking?? That’s a lot of turkeys. We enlarged our brooding area more by a third. This gave us more the recommended minimum spacing for the poults. We also can see how the feed this year has really supported the growth of the turkeys. They have been much healthier. I believe this awesome weather has come in to play also. The heat has not been oppressive and we’ve had spells of pleasant weather.
